Who Do You Think You Are?

Who Do You Think You Are?
I see so much struggle in the world. So much pain and hurt. And life is hard; don’t get me wrong. But there should be a difference between Christians and the world, and sadly, in America, you don’t see much difference. And often, it is because the Christians are not thinking correctly. They are saved; they are a new creation! But often we cling to that old self-a major mistake. And it doesn’t have to be that way-you can start now to walk in that new creation life.

2 Corinthians 5:17 states it plainly, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” You see that? Old things have passed away-you have become new! Though always true, it is only true for YOU if you believe it and embrace it. And that means letting go of the old self, forgiving yourself, putting it away and walking in a new self. How you think about yourself matters. You were one way; you are no longer that way. Often we fall back to stinking thinking because we don’t know how to walk new. That is why personal bible study and prayer are so important-the Holy Spirit is in you and will show you all things, but you must embrace Him, and that is done best in Bible reading and prayer.

This Sunday I will be preaching on this topic and, more than that, giving a type of game plan on how to change the thinking, how to embrace the new, and finally put the old away once and for all. I am excited about the message and can’t wait to share it Sunday. I really hope to see you there. I think this message will resonate with everyone, so come on down to 900 Cripple Creek Dr. in Lawrenceville this Sunday at 10:30. I hope to see you there, and if you can’t make it…we stream it live on our YouTube channel @TheGreatAwarenessChurch. Hope you will check it out-have a blessed week!
